It is with great sadness that we advise the Hamilton Rugby Club community of the passing of our beloved Life Member, Richard Cusick.
Richard began playing for Hamilton in 1966 in U14s.
In 1978 he was part of the premiership winning team as a reserve, and one of his proudest on field moments was as a member of the 1982 1st Grade Premiership winning team.
His dedication and service to the club continued after a catastrophic accident in 1985 that left him a quadriplegic.
As a player, former President and three times Clubman of the Year, his contribution to the Blue and Gold has been a significant part of the culture and history of the Hawks tradition.
Richard was a very special part of the Hamilton Rugby family and he will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
Vale Richard Cusick.
